Theatre Studies at Western and the Department of English and Writing Studies present
Q1 Hamlet

“To be or not to be; ay, there’s the point!”

The Ghost reveals his murder at his brother’s hands, and the prince must avenge his father’s death, but who is this Corambis and what is different about these well-known speeches?

Come experience Shakespeare’s Hamlet as you’ve never seen it before!  Theatre Studies at Western and the Department of English and Writing Studies proudly presents Q1 Hamlet, the First Quarto of The Tragicall Historie of Hamlet, Prince of Denmarke (1603), the earliest printed version of the Bard’s most famous tragedy.

Less than half the length of more familiar editions of the play, Q1 Hamlet features live original music and includes a bonus short Tudor Interlude, John Rastell’s “Four Elements.”
