In exchange for your commitment, you will be recognized as an integral member of The ARTS Project. What you gain from this experience is entirely up to you. We ask that you be dedicated, motivated and show initiative!

What are you hoping to gain by volunteering at The ARTS Project?

Volunteer Agreement – Please read the following and check to verify that you have read the information:

* 1. I understand that my participation is purely voluntary and that there will be no financial remuneration whatsoever.

* 2. I understand while representing The ARTS Project I must conduct myself in an acceptable and professional manner, and failing to do so will lead to immediate dismissal from volunteer service.

* 3. If accepted as a volunteer, I agree to abide by The ARTS Project's Volunteers’ Rights and Procedures as outlined below.

Volunteers’ Rights and Procedures

  • The right to volunteer in a workplace environment free of harassment
  • The right to be treated with dignity and respect
  • The right to be heard
  • The right to support and guidance from the Volunteer Coordinator
  • The right to enjoy a variety of experiences
  • The right to volunteer in a safe environment under the Health and Safety guidelines of The ARTS Project

  • That volunteers are punctual and challenge themselves to learn new skills.
  • That volunteers work as part of a team providing support and encouragement to other volunteers.
  • That volunteers represent The ARTS Project in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • To ask questions when unsure and with a positive attitude.
  • High school students can apply to volunteer at The ARTS Project to complete their compulsory high school volunteer service.
