Prints, Plates and Presses:
Printmaking techniques and printing methods for teens ages 14-18

This course provides a thorough introduction to the techniques of printmaking using linoleum cut, mono-print, blind embossing and dry point methods. Students will create multiple print images and learn how to print by hand and on the printing press. Through class discussions students will learn not only methods of printmaking but also explore the elements of great art making, including the importance of line, tone and texture, and how to convey an idea using print. At the end of this six week class students will have the skills to create an image for print and how to successfully make multiple prints.

Enrollment Option 2. Call us to enroll at 519-642-2767 or visit us in person during our operating hours, 12-5pm Tuesday-Saturday. You will be required to make payment with Visa or Mastercard by phone, or by debit, credit, cheque or cash in person.

*Course enrollment cutoff date is Monday, June 13, 2016 by 5pm. Only 50% of your registration fee is refundable if cancellations are received with at least one week’s notice from the course start date. Fees will not be refunded after enrollment cutoff date. Minimum course enrollment is 5 students. If the minimum student enrollment is not reached by the cutoff date the course will be cancelled. If the course is cancelled tuition fees will be refunded in full. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
