Introduction to Sculpting the Female Figure

This course is an introduction to the tools, materials and techniques used to sculpt the female human figure in a classical tradition with emphasis on anatomy, proportion, design. This course is specially designed for artists who have always wanted to sculpt but have been too afraid to try. Whether you’re drawn to art for the first time, preparing a portfolio for art school or mastering your craft, our program is right for you. Clay models, Ecorche figure, books and drawings will be used to supplement lectures and demonstrations.

February 13, 20, 27 and March 5, 2016

$120 + materials (Members $105*)

Enrollment Option 2. Call us to enroll at 519-642-2767 or visit us in person during our operating hours, 12-5pm Tuesday-Saturday. You will be required to make payment with Visa or Mastercard by phone, or by debit, credit, cheque or cash in person.


*Course enrollment cutoff date is Friday February 5, 2016 by 5pm. Only 50% of your registration fee is refundable if cancellations are received with at least one week’s notice from the course start date. Fees will not be refunded after enrollment cutoff date. Minimum course enrollment is 5 students. If the minimum student enrollment is not reached by the cutoff date the course will be cancelled. If the course is cancelled tuition fees will be refunded in full. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
